ART LICENSING
I've been licensing my artwork to an international audience since 2004 so I have a unique global perspective. I can help you with strategy, the essentials of contract negotiation, licensing in overseas markets, updating your brand book etc...ask away.
COLOUR
Colour is probably the most important thing in your portfolio and is a key element in helping you make your own statement in the marketplace. We can look at finding new colour inspiration, from recolouring your work to creating your signature colour palette.
CUSTOMISED TUTORIALS
Maybe there is a particular style of pattern you want to learn? Or perhaps you've never painted with acrylic before and would like a lesson? Or maybe you want to learn how to draw deco roses using Procreate? We can do this together in 'real time' so you're learning at the same time.
FLORALS
A well known designer told me years ago that if I could paint flowers, then I would always be able to find work. And he was right. You need to know the fundamentals of botanical illustration regardless of whether your design is a traditional floral or a sketchy modern interpretation. Your floral designs will improve 'out of this world'.
INDUSTRY INSIGHTS
I've been doing this for a long time and I've seen lots of changes in the industry from technology to pricing to manufacturing. I'll tell you anything you want to know....there is no 'smoke and mirrors' with me. I may also be able to suggest companies to contact if I think you are a good fit.
PATTERN PERFECT
Every pattern should have its own rhythm and harmony regardless of how simple it is. We can review your existing designs. And teach you new design repeats that are ready for manufacturing in your chosen product categories. It should be a seamless transition from your artwork to production.
PRODUCT FOCUS
Everything you do should be specifically targeted for a particular product category. Are you offering the right designs, in the right colours, in the correct format to the right customer? Are your mock ups 'retail ready'?
PORTFOLIO REVIEW
Feedback and analysis on your current portfolio including your brand identity. We can identify which parts of your portfolio need work, which clients you want to target, and what product categories I think are suitable for your designs.

'I honed my pattern design and painting skills in Europe working for the top fashion and furnishing textile design studios whose clients included Giorgio Armani, Diane Von Furstenberg and Laura Ashley etc.
I learnt how to work fast and smart using lots of different techniques and styles.
My friends jokingly call me the 'Meryl Streep' of pattern because I am so versatile and can create many different looks/ styles.
I hand paint mostly using gouache and inks but I also use Adobe Creative Suite and Procreate in my daily practice.'

Ideal for portfolio reviews or a deep dive into a particular aspect of your work that you want help with. I will let you know whether something is achievable or not within our session.

- Please note that there may not be time to cover everything in the session so you'll need to prioritise in order of importance.
- Each session will be recorded so you will have access to this for future reference afterwards.
