After completing a degree in Visual Communication at Brighton School of Art in England, Penny began illustrating children's books. Some 21 years later working in the industry, Penny is now a world renowned illustrator.

Her Bedtime Story Collections published by Orion Books in London sell internationally. Her series of Secret Fairy Novelty Books have sold over one million copies. 4 Secret Fairy titles are soon to be published in the US by Simon & Schuster.

Penny has also produced several books for Philadelphia based Running Press Books for Kids, including a soft toy book that she designed and illustrated.

Penny also illustrates for prominent US and UK magazines, advertising and packaging clients.
