Chris Chun is an award winning designer and artist who has an appetite for fun, great food and adventure.

His paintings are drawn from within the culinary world, in all its many facets - the cultural and historical, the symbolic and personal. The works incorporate stitching and embroidery; sand and wax also are utilised to enhance the painted imagery, lending a quiet tension and sense of discovery for the close observer.

Chris says "Food is such a wonderful celebration of life and I think we all have an emotional connection to food in one way or another! When I look at cupcakes, I think back to my childhood watching Mum bake in the kitchen, the sweet smell of vanilla and licking chocolate icing off the wooden spoon...."
